Labdhi Sheth

- Labdhi Sheth is on secondment and not currently practicing at WilmerHale.
Labdhi Sheth is experienced in complex commercial and patent litigation matters. She has developed subject-matter expertise in patent law, including the particularities of the Hatch-Waxman statute as well as corporate disputes relating unfair business practices and serves clients in the life sciences, financial services, and technology sectors.
Ms. Sheth’s breadth of practice spans from pre-litigation investigation and settlement strategy to fact and expert discovery through trial and post-trial briefing. She has advised clients navigating uncharted waters in the space of third-party tortious conduct as well as those assessing options to litigation threats from NPEs. Having now secured two trials victories for her clients, Ms. Sheth manages discovery and motion practice with an eye for the ultimate burden of persuasion.
Ms. Sheth is also a passionate advocate for women's rights serving as pro bono counsel for and in partnership with Period Equity, Planned Parenthood and Victim’s Rights Law Center.
She began her career at the firm as a summer associate. Prior to rejoining the firm, she clerked for the Honorable Otis D. Wright II of the US District Court for the Central District of California. Ms. Sheth was also previously a judicial extern to the Honorable Dolly Gee of the US District Court for the Central District of California.
Professional Memberships
Ms. Labdhi is an active member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). In 2023, she was selected to be one of two candidates for the LCLD Pathfinder Program, an annual program designed for diverse, high-potential, early-career attorneys.

- Deposed Chief Financial Officer in a significant patent dispute before the International Trade Commission establishing insignificant domestic investments.
- Prepared fact and expert witnesses for deposition and trial on behalf of plaintiff and defendant parties in patent litigation disputes.
- Participated in two patent litigation trials and successfully defended a life sciences and technology company.
- Successfully drafted expert reports in pharmaceutical, medical devices, software and hardware patent litigation matters.
- Drafted amicus brief on behalf of Planned Parenthood to the Supreme Court in U.S. v. State of Texas.
- Successfully managed case team in a commercial litigation dispute valued at $7 million.
