Jorge Kina focuses his practice on complex intellectual property matters. Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Kina was a patent agent and associate at another law firm in California where he counseled clients in a wide variety of technical field, including electronic circuits, semiconductor device fabrication, display devices, medical devices, machine learning and artificial intelligence, social networking systems, blockchain technology, and autonomous vehicles.

Mr. Kina previously worked as a graduate student researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles Nanostructure Devices and Technology Laboratory. He has previously assisted in a variety of pro bono matters with Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto, California and the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County.
