James Lyons focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation matters. His cases involve a wide range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, computer hardware, and consumer electronics. Mr. Lyons’ practice encompasses all stages of litigation. Mr. Lyons has also advised clients on intellectual property concerns related to corporate transactions and overseas investments.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Lyons was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Kimberly A. Moore of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Honorable Claire C. Cecchi of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey. Previously, Mr. Lyons was an associate at another law firm and a public service attorney at the New York City Law Department, Queens Torts Division.
