Frances C. Mosley

Frances Mosley focuses her practice on complex transactional and corporate matters, with an emphasis on representing venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and companies in venture capital and debt financings, general corporate matters, and mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Mosley regularly serves as outside general counsel to emerging growth companies, providing strategic counseling on various stages of the corporate life cycle, including formation; day-to-day operations and corporate governance matters; board, advisor and employment matters; stock plans; securities law compliance; and capital raising. Ms. Mosley enjoys helping clients grow their businesses and portfolios, and navigate and solve business and legal issues in a thoughtful and practical way.

Ms. Mosley currently serves as a member of the firm’s Hiring Committee and Diversity Committee. Ms. Mosley has also served as a Co-Chair of the firm’s Summer Associate Program. Outside of work, Ms. Mosley also serves as a Co-Chair of the Venture Capital Committee of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Silicon Valley, and is a supervising attorney at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law Startup Legal Garage. Ms. Mosley has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star in Corporate Law each year from 2014 to 2021.
