Emily Scherker represents clients in regulatory enforcement matters, internal investigations and civil litigation. She has experience representing financial institutions and corporations in cross-border internal investigations and regulatory matters involving the Department of Justice, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and other domestic and foreign regulatory agencies. She has also represented clients in antitrust and other complex commercial litigation matters.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Scherker clerked for the Honorable Katherine Polk Failla of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. She previously worked as an associate and a summer associate for another international law firm. 

During law school, Ms. Scherker was a research assistant at the Carr Center for Reproductive Justice and a judicial intern for the Honorable Kenneth Karas of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. She also served as an Executive Editor of the N.Y.U. Journal of Legislation & Public Policy. Before law school, she worked as a project assistant for a US law firm, where she worked on regulatory investigations, commercial litigation and pro bono matters.
