Emily W. Andersen
Counsel
Emily Andersen focuses her practice on complex litigation matters. Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Andersen clerked for the Honorable M. Page Kelley of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Ms. Andersen previously clerked for the Honorable Rya W. Zobel and the Honorable Allison D. Burroughs of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Before completing her clerkships, Ms. Andersen was a litigation associate at another law firm in Boston. While pursuing her legal education, Ms. Andersen was managing editor for the Boston College Law Review. She also completed a judicial internship for the Honorable F. Dennis Saylor IV of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Ms. Andersen was previously a legal intern for the Cyberlaw Clinic at the Harvard Law School Berkman Klein Center and a project coordinator at the Harvard Library Office for Scholarly Communication. She also worked as a library assistant for Harvard Library’s Information and Technical Services.

- Represented major pharmaceutical companies in large, multi-year federal investigations involving sales and marketing practices.
- Investigations and Compliance Assessments
- Assisted in internal investigations regarding commercial business practices.
- Represented individual in Department of Justice investigation involving healthcare fraud and commercial business practices.
- False Claims Act Matters
