Elizabeth Petow Mayo

Senior Associate

Elizabeth (Liz) Mayo’s practice focuses on all aspects of corporate law, with an emphasis on licensing, technology transactions, research collaborations, and other commercial agreements. She represents public and private companies in a variety of industries, including life sciences, medical devices, digital health, technology, software, automotive, and manufacturing. Ms. Mayo also maintains an active pro bono practice. 

Ms. Mayo was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2016. Previously, she was a legal intern at the MIT Office of the General Counsel. While in law school, Ms. Mayo was a student advocate at Harvard Law School's Veterans Legal Clinic, representing veterans pro bono before the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. She also volunteered as a tax preparer for low-income individuals and families. 

Before law school, Ms. Mayo was a paralegal at a Boston-area immigration law firm.
