Elizabeth Bewley represents clients in a broad range of matters, focusing primarily on appellate litigation. She has briefed cases before federal and state courts of appeals on issues related to constitutional law, administrative law, statutory interpretation, civil rights, intellectual property, financial regulation, immigration law and taxation.
Ms. Bewley joined the firm following clerkships with the Honorable Elena Kagan of the Supreme Court of the United States and the Honorable Thomas B. Griffith of the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. While pursuing her law degree, Ms. Bewley served as Notes Chair of the Harvard Law Review and as a board member of the Harvard Women’s Law Association.
Before beginning her legal education, Ms. Bewley worked as a Washington correspondent for Gannett newspapers, reporting on political news for regional audiences.
