Donna Farag focuses on complex litigation and government regulatory matters, including appellate litigation. During her time at WilmerHale, Ms. Farag has litigated a variety of government-facing matters, including APA actions, and has defended private companies in consumer class actions, Anti-Terrorism Act litigation, and government investigations. Ms. Farag has also counseled clients in matters before regulatory agencies.

Ms. Farag has briefed and argued cases before multiple courts of appeals. She also maintains an active pro bono and amicus practice focusing on religious liberties, Takings Clause litigation, and immigration litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Farag clerked for the Honorable Carl J. Nichols of the US District Court for the District of Columbia and the Honorable John M. Rogers of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Ms. Farag was previously a complex litigation and trials associate and summer associate at another global law firm. While in law school, Ms. Farag interned at the US District Court for the District of Columbia and the Department of Justice Criminal Division’s Public Integrity Section. She also worked as a legislative assistant and legislative director in the California State Assembly.
