
David Katz
Senior Associate
David Katz represents clients on antitrust and competition matters, as well as in investigations and corresponding litigation, and focuses on antitrust matters that involve technology and intellectual property. He began his career at WilmerHale as a summer associate in 2016. Prior to rejoining the firm, Mr. Katz clerked for the Honorable Todd Hughes of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and for the Honorable Mae D’Agostino of the US District Court for the Northern District of New York.
While pursuing his legal education, Mr. Katz was a research assistant for the Cornell Death Penalty Project where he worked on complex procedural matters before Supreme Court, as well as the Fourth and Eleventh Circuits. Additionally, he was a constitutional law teaching assistant and brief writer for the Cornell Law School Child Advocacy Clinic.
Mr. Katz previously served as the cofounder and director of strategic relationships and planning for Signoto Corporation, which provided technical consultation and quality assurance services for federally licensed medical marijuana producers in Canada. He was also a senior development associate for the Jonas Salk Legacy Foundation and the membership secretary and a Democratic Party Committee Abroad voting delegate for Democrats Abroad Canada.
