Cory Hansen represents financial and technology clients on regulatory and policy matters. Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Hansen was an analyst for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, where he worked in the areas of payment, clearance and settlement systems, including FinTech and new business models, operational resilience and cyber risk, master account access, and crypto policy. Previously, he developed advocacy strategies at a legal nonprofit organization focused on administrative litigation. During law school, Mr. Hansen served as an intern for the White House Office of Management and Budget, a summer honors law clerk in the Office of the General Counsel for the United States Environmental Protection Agency and a law clerk at the Administrative Conference of the United States.
