Brian J. Lambson, PhD
Senior Associate
Dr. Brian Lambson is a senior associate who assists clients in a wide range of intellectual property matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Lambson was a patent agent and technical advisor at another law firm, where he drafted and prosecuted patent applications covering a broad technology spectrum, including computer software and hardware, telecommunications, machine learning, electric and autonomous vehicles, surgical devices and cloud computing applications. He has also worked for iRunway, Inc. as a consulting expert and source code reviewer in patent litigation and for Cloudflare, Inc. as a legal intern.
Dr. Lambson received his PhD in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley. His thesis research focused on developing energy efficient computing techniques enabled by developments in the fields of semiconductor devices, magnetism and nanoelectronics. During his graduate studies, he also spent time working at Sunpower Corp. and at the National Institute for Materials Science in Japan.
