Benjamin Hanna focuses his practice on energy, environmental and natural resources law. His experience includes project permitting, regulatory compliance and transactional matters.

Before joining WilmerHale, Mr. Hanna was an associate for a New Hampshire law firm where he advised clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including transmission infrastructure and energy generation, on a variety of regulatory issues that arise during permitting, administration and compliance.

In law school, Mr. Hanna taught an introductory course in environmental law and policy to Boston College undergraduates. As a student attorney for the Boston College Law School Civil Litigation Clinic, he assisted clients in landlord-tenant disputes, disability benefits appeals and divorce matters. Mr. Hanna was also a legal intern for the Volunteer Lawyers Project.

Before law school, Mr. Hanna worked on a successful New Hampshire gubernatorial campaign and at multiple environmental nonprofit organizations.
