Akkad Moussa is an intellectual property lawyer who represents clients in the life sciences space on matters involving chemical processing, clinical diagnostics, intermediate chemicals, medical devices, metallurgy and pharmaceuticals. He also represents clients in post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board in cases regarding chemical and biologics patents.

Mr. Moussa provides clients with a broad range of intellectual property services, including patent procurement, strategic patent counseling and due diligence, and the development of patent portfolios.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Moussa was an associate and law clerk at another law firm in Washington DC. He previously served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kathleen M. O’Malley of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
