Adam W. McCall

Senior Associate

Adam McCall represents clients in complex commercial litigations and white-collar criminal investigations. He has experience in all phases of litigation in federal and state courts and in matters such as those involving the False Claims Act, bank fraud and securities fraud. His pro bono practice focuses on federal civil rights litigation.

In 2022–2023, Mr. McCall served as a special assistant district attorney in the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, where he was responsible for prosecuting several hundred criminal cases. While in that position, he tried a variety of criminal matters to both juries and judges and argued many evidentiary and non-evidentiary motions on behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Mr. McCall clerked for Chief Judge Jeffrey R. Howard of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and Judge William G. Young of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Mr. McCall was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2016.

Mr. McCall graduated first in his class from Cornell Law School. While in law school, Mr. McCall interned for the Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Enforcement and the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York. He also was a research assistant to Cornell Law School Professor Josh Chafetz and an Executive Editor of the Cornell Law Review.

Before law school, he worked as a litigation legal assistant at another large international law firm in Boston. He also served as student body president at Emory University.
