E-Verify Effective Date Postponed Again

The US Chamber of Commerce announced yesterday that the federal government has postponed from February 20, 2009, to May 21, 2009, the effective date on which federal contractors must implement the E-Verify system to check employees' work eligibility. This is the second time the federal government has delayed implementation of the rule.
