On December 18, 2019, Dan Gallagher, WilmerHale partner and deputy chair of the firm’s Securities Department, sat down with CNBC’s Squawk Box team. They discussed Wall Street’s growing interest in impact investing, which has recently drawn scrutiny from the Securities Exchange Commission for a lack of environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards.

Mr. Gallagher explained why some investment choices may work better than others and discussed the concern about a lack of disclosure to investors.
