On July 31, 2007, BAE Systems, a leading global defense and aerospace company, completed its $ 4.5 billion acquisition of Armor Holdings Inc. WilmerHale represented BAE Systems in obtaining antitrust clearance from the US Department of Justice. This was one of the largest transactions in the history of BAE Systems and the largest transaction in the defense sector so far this year.
