Although a tentative agreement among Democrats and some Republicans on the major issues in the pending Emergency Economic Stabilization and Corporate Accountability Act has just been announced, the details of how those issues are to be resolved have not yet emerged. In addition, Republican House leader John Boehner (R-OH) and Republican Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) have indicated that they have not yet signed on to the agreement. Issues under consideration are outlined in our recent Email Alert.
