WilmerHale Partner Bill McLucas served as a featured panelist at the 2013 NLJ Regulatory Summit which was hosted by The National Law Journal (NLJ) and Legal Times. McLucas participated in the panel titled, "Dodd-Frank's Sleeper Provisions: What You Need to Know," which was held on November 13, 2013, in Washington DC. The panel was the first of a two-part panel series examining various aspects of the Dodd-Frank Act and industry insight for what to expect from federal agencies in 2014.

During the panel, McLucas participated in a discussion about provisions "tucked" into the Dodd-Frank Act that may present challenges to companies when faced with compliance choices. Panelists also engaged in discussion on the topic about concerns with "pending requirements to disclose the use of 'conflict minerals' and new whistleblower protections that could eviscerate internal reporting programs." Senior reporter for NLJ, Jenna Greene, served as the moderator for the panel.

NLJ and Legal Times host panels at the annual NLJ Regulatory Summit that feature leading regulatory law and policy attorneys in Washington.
