WilmerHale's Intellectual Property Litigation Practice had a significant showing with seven of its group members included in this year's rankings. Also listed in the 2013 Super Lawyers ranking for Northern California are 12 Palo Alto attorneys selected as "Rising Stars."
The objective of Super Lawyers is to "provide a credible, comprehensive and diverse" resource and method for attorneys and consumers to use when researching legal representation. The WilmerHale Palo Alto office was opened in 2005, and in that short time has established a recognizable place in Northern California's legal landscape. The focus of the work in the Palo Alto office is concentrated around Intellectual Property, Securities and Transactional issues. Recently, the Silicon Valley Business Journal ranked the Palo Alto office eighth out of 49 law firms in Silicon Valley based on the number of attorneys working out of the office. In addition, WilmerHale ranked as one of the "Top 10 Largest Silicon Valley Law Firms" in 2013 for the second year in a row.
