“We were informed by Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison that their merger discussions with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius had terminated and that the firm may dissolve. Hale and Dorr is in the process of taking steps to maintain the European offices of Brobeck, Hale and Dorr, the joint venture formed between the two U.S. firms in 1990, and make them Hale and Dorr offices.”
