Mr. Born heads WilmerHale's international dispute resolution and arbitration practices and is widely regarded as one of the world's leading authorities on both subjects. Mr. Born was lead counsel in four of the largest institutional arbitrations in history, and has participated in countless other international litigations and arbitrations. Mr. Born has lectured and taught widely, including at universities in Europe and the United States.

He is the author of International Civil Litigation in U.S. Courts (4th ed. 2006), an 1100 page commentary and casebook, which is forthcoming from Aspen Publishers.
