On June 10, 2008, Corporate Board Member magazine announced the results of its eighth annual America’s Best Corporate Law Firms survey, sponsored by FTI Consulting. Directors working in Washington, DC named Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP the best corporate law firm in Washington, DC.

Corporate Board Member/FTI Consulting's annual study identifies the top 20 national corporate law firms and the top corporate law firm in 25 major metropolitan areas, according to directors serving on boards of publicly traded companies listed with the NASDAQ Stock Market, New York Stock Exchange, or American Stock Exchange.

"These accolades are particularly meaningful because they come from the law firms' big clients," said William S. Rukeyser, editorial director of Corporate Board Member.
