WilmerHale is honored to have been recognized at the FASPE (Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics) 9th Annual Awards for Ethical Leadership Dinner, held on November 17, in New York City. This distinguished recognition honors organizations committed to the highest principles of ethical responsibility within the legal profession.

FASPE, an organization founded to promote ethical leadership by examining the roles and behaviors of professionals in Nazi Germany, praised WilmerHale and this year’s other honorees for upholding the principle that “every client deserves access to counsel of their choice, and that lawyers must be free to choose how to represent clients, all without fear of reprisal.”

WilmerHale was one of nine law firms honored by FASPE for challenging, “attacks that sought to place barriers on American law firms” and choosing “neither to concede nor negotiate, but instead to stand in opposition as a matter of ethical principle and in defense of the Rule of Law.“ This recognition stands as a testament to the firm’s steadfast dedication to excellence, integrity, and the core values that guide every aspect of our work.
