Jamie Gorelick Recognized with ABA’s Morris I. Leibman Award in Law and National Security

Recognition

The American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on Law and National Security honored Partner Jamie Gorelick with its Morris I. Leibman Award in Law and National Security. The award recognizes lawyers who have demonstrated sustained commitment and made exceptional contributions to the field of law and national security, according to the organization.

“Jamie Gorelick is widely recognized as one of the nation’s foremost national security lawyers,” said Stephen Preston, Co-Chair of WilmerHale’s Defense, National Security and Government Contracts Practice and Chair of the ABA’s Standing Committee on Law and National Security. “Over the past five decades, she has distinguished herself in both private practice and public service, taking on high-level roles across the federal government with exceptional skill and dedication.”

Gorelick, Chair of WilmerHale’s Regulatory and Government Affairs Department, is one of Washington's best-known litigators. She has represented corporations and individuals in a wide array of matters, particularly in the regulatory and enforcement arenas.
