Managing IP has named Partner Annsley Merelle Ward as one of the top 50 most influential people in intellectual property in 2023. Ward is recognized along with three other members of the London chapter of ChIPs for enacting changes that will allow for more opportunities for junior IP lawyers.

The ChIPs members, including Ward who acts as chair of the London chapter, drafted and helped pass guidelines encouraging the use of junior lawyers in hearings at the Patents Court in the High Court of England and Wales. The amendments, published late last year, are intended to increase diversity in the Patents Court.
