WilmerHale Named a Finalist for MCCA’s Thomas L. Sager Award

Recognition

The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) has named WilmerHale a finalist in Category 5 of its 2023 Thomas L. Sager Award, which recognizes law firms that champion a more diverse and inclusive workforce. The award is named after DuPont Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Thomas L. Sager, who is a driving force for improving the hiring, retention, promotion and involvement of minorities and women.

“We express deep appreciation for the achievements of our finalists,” said Wanji Walcott, Chief Legal and Business Affairs Officer at Pinterest and MCCA’s Board Chair. “They exemplify inclusive leadership across all levels of their organizations, working tirelessly to promote equity within the legal profession."

This year’s winner will be announced at the MCCA’s Diversity Gala in New York City on October 11.
