WilmerHale Honored by Catholic Migration Services for Pro Bono Impact

Catholic Migration Services, a nonprofit that provides free legal services to low-income individuals in Brooklyn, honored WilmerHale at its annual Impact Reception on August 2, 2023. This award recognizes the firm’s commitment to providing pro bono representation to undocumented individuals and low-wage workers in immigration and employment law matters.

Among other pro bono matters referred by Catholic Migration Services, in the past year the firm represented an immigrant survivor of domestic violence before the Board of Immigration Appeals and a group of low-wage workers in federal litigation asserting violations of federal and New York state labor laws regarding minimum wage and overtime pay.
