WilmerHale Honored with National Legal Aid & Defender Association’s 2023 Beacon of Justice Award

Recognition

The National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA) has honored WilmerHale with the 2023 Beacon of Justice Award in recognition of the firm’s commitment and contributions to pro bono and public service work. This marks the third consecutive year that WilmerHale has received the prestigious award.

NLADA is America’s oldest nonprofit association dedicated to providing legal services for those who are unable to afford counsel. According to the organization, the Beacon of Justice award is given to law firms and legal organizations that have “demonstrated a commitment to intentional inclusivity and intersectionality with their LGBTQ+ rights, gender equity and racial equity work.” WilmerHale maintains a steadfast commitment to ensuring equal access to justice for underserved communities and is proud to contribute to NLADA’s endeavor to elevate equity and justice.

NLADA will recognize WilmerHale and the other honorees during its annual Exemplar Awards Gala on June 8 at Union Market in Washington DC.
