The American Lawyer released its annual Pro Bono Scorecard, which analyzed and ranked 200 law firms based on the average number of hours and lawyers committed to pro bono representation. WilmerHale received a score of 105.5, placing its pro bono practice among the top five in the US.

WilmerHale is one of only 11 firms whose lawyers averaged more than 100 hours of pro bono work, with at least 80% of lawyers donating 20-plus hours of legal services to organizations and individuals. Pro bono representation has been a hallmark of the firm for over a century, and our lawyers have been involved in influential legal cases that have shaped the nation. Our practice regularly handles cases involving issues of immigration, medical care, housing, education, wrongful incarceration and exploitation.
