WilmerHale Announces 2021 Pickering Fellow

Recognition

New York–based Senior Associate Keun Young Bae has been selected as WilmerHale’s 2021 Pickering fellow. Ms. Bae will begin her fellowship at the City Bar Justice Center’s Immigrant Justice Project (IJP) in New York in February.

The IJP provides legal services for low-income survivors of violent crimes, including intimate-partner violence, trafficking, sexual abuse, child abuse, hate crimes, and applicants for other forms of immigration relief.

WilmerHale established the Pickering Fellowship in honor of John Pickering, a founding partner of the firm who inspired generations of lawyers with his commitment to the public interest. The fellowship gives lawyers from the firm’s US offices the opportunity to spend six months working at select public interest organizations.
