WilmerHale Named a 2020 Top Workplace by Bay Area News for the Seventh Consecutive Year

Recognition

Bay Area News has named WilmerHale among their 2020 Top Workplaces, recognizing the firm’s presence in both Palo Alto and San Francisco. According to the publication, the companies recognized in this year’s list were selected solely on surveys about the workplace completed by their employees.

This is the seventh consecutive year WilmerHale’s Palo Alto office has been recognized by Bay Area News and marks the first for the firm’s San Francisco office, established in 2019 to serve clients ranging from the world’s most innovative technology and life sciences companies to financial institutions and industrial and consumer companies. Opened in 2005, the Palo Alto office has grown to more than 65 attorneys in a wide range of practice areas, including litigation, corporate, securities, intellectual property, technology licensing and fund formation. The lawyers who relocated from Palo Alto to start the San Francisco office exemplify the firm’s strengths in securities enforcement; investigations and white collar criminal litigation; emerging company counseling and technology transactions; and government investigations and litigation.

This year, 85 companies and organizations were named to the “Top Workplaces” list in three categories based on size: large, midsize and small. WilmerHale ranked eighth out of a total of 42 small companies, and is the only law firm included in its category.
