WilmerHale Honored as Recipient of the Legal Aid Society’s 2019 Pro Bono Publico Award

Recognition

On October 28, WilmerHale was honored as one of the recipients of the 2019 Pro Bono Publico Award for its outstanding service to the Legal Aid Society and its clients. Additionally, Counsel Joanna Howard, Senior Associate Ilya Feldsherov and Associate Jeremy Schiffres were also recognized for their individual efforts.

Presented annually, the Legal Aid Society’s recognition includes the work of volunteer lawyers, law firms, corporations and other professionals who support the organization in its pro bono program by providing exceptional legal services to low-income New York residents. Partner Debo Adegbile accepted the award on behalf of the firm at the ceremony, which was held at the Prince George Ballroom in New York.
