Daniel Gallagher and Lucas Moskowitz Return to the WilmerHale Securities Group

Daniel Gallagher and Lucas Moskowitz have rejoined WilmerHale as partners to represent and counsel clients on securities-related regulatory, policy, litigation and enforcement matters.

Mr. Gallagher, a former commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission, is deputy chair of the firm’s Securities Department, which is chaired by Partner William R. McLucas.

Mr. Gallagher’s practice will focus on advising corporate boards and management on the full range of legal and strategic issues they face, and advising financial services and accounting firms in investigations, regulatory proceedings and policy matters. Mr. Gallagher brings to his practice an unparalleled breadth of experience from having served not only in senior positions at the SEC but also as the chief legal officer of a global S&P 500 corporation and general counsel of a broker-dealer.

Mr. Moskowitz, former chief of staff to SEC Chairman Jay Clayton, specializes in representing corporations and individuals facing complex government investigations, enforcement actions, litigation, and legislative inquiries. He also has extensive experience advising corporations and other entities on a broad range of regulatory and policy matters. His government service includes as chief investigative counsel for the Senate Banking Committee, counsel to the House Financial Services Committee, and an SEC enforcement lawyer.
