Stephen Preston Elected to Board of Directors of CIA Officers Memorial Foundation

Stephen Preston has been elected to the Board of Directors of the CIA Officers' Memorial Foundation. The foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing emergency financial support, college scholarships and other assistance to the surviving family members of agency officers who die while in active service. In addition, it offers assistance to CIA personnel returning from extended war zone assignments.

The foundation was established in December 2001 to honor Johnny Michael Spann, the first CIA officer killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan after 9/11. Mr. Preston served as General Counsel of the Central Intelligence Agency from 2009 to 2013. He is currently chair of the firm’s Defense, National Security and Government Contracts practice group.
