WilmerHale lawyers Stephanie Evans and Morgan Monroe attended the STEM for Her 2018 gala for an evening of networking with Washington DC business and technology leaders to support girls and young women pursuing careers in the science, technology, engineering and math fields of study.  

The event included a live auction to raise funds for the organization and testimonials from students in grades 6–12 who have benefitted from its programs and initiatives.

For Evans—a STEM for Her board member—and Monroe, the event was an opportunity to celebrate an organization for which the firm handles corporate governance and contractual matters. 

“I found the speeches from the girls who participate in the program so inspiring,” says Monroe. “They were so passionate about how much they had learned through the programs.”

Adds Evans: “It’s so exciting to see and hear from the girls who have participated in the STEM for Her programs. Their enthusiasm is contagious and uplifting.”
