Manuel Casas was recently a guest speaker on the Arbitration Station Podcast, in an episode titled the LatAm Holiday Special. Casas spoke about three recent decisions from the International Court of Justice (Bolivia v. Chile, Nicaragua v. Colombia, and Costa Rica v. Nicaragua) and how they could influence investment arbitration. He also spoke about general developments in arbitration in Latin America. The other guest was Prof. Gloria Alvarez of the University of Aberdeen, who spoke about ECT reform.
