The Boston Globe Recognizes WilmerHale as a Top Place to Work

Recognition

The Boston Globe has named WilmerHale as one of the Top Places to Work for the fifth consecutive year and is recognized as the highest ranked law firm on this list. The firm has ranked 16th out of 36 Greater Boston businesses with 250 or more local employees. The rankings are based on anonymous employee surveys conducted through a third-party host.

According to the Globe, more than 82,000 employees at 318 companies in Massachusetts participated in the survey, rating their company on management, training, direction, job satisfaction, compensation, benefits and more. Winners are announced in four categories: small companies (50 to 99 workers), medium (100 to 249), large (250 to 999) and largest (1,000 or more). The more positive the response from employees, the higher the company ranks.

WilmerHale’s Boston office serves as one of the firm’s core locations, focusing on litigation, corporate and intellectual property practices. With more than 500 employees, including attorneys and staff, the Boston office provides the New England region with a top-tier legal experience. Clients benefit from WilmerHale’s extensive industry knowledge, with many of the firms' practice leaders housed in Boston. Other core practices include bankruptcy and commercial, environmental, labor and employment, real estate and tax.

In addition, the Boston office is a major center for the firm’s Community Partnerships. This program of philanthropic outreach encourages WilmerHale employees to contribute financial support, pro bono legal representation, volunteer service and in-kind donations in partnership with area nonprofits.
