Attorney News

Heidi Ruckriegle, a senior associate in WilmerHale's Denver office, was recently elected to the Board of Trustees of the prestigious Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation (RMMLF).

As a trustee, Ruckriegle will help establish priorities and guide the organization dedicated to the scholarly and practical study of the laws and regulations related to mining, oil and gas, energy, public lands, water, environmental and international law.

“Heidi is incredibly well-respected by her colleagues and clients at WilmerHale, and it is gratifying that the members of the RMMLF Board of Trustees also recognize her expertise,” said Andrew Spielman, co-partner-in-charge of WilmerHale’s Denver office and chair of the firm’s global Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Practice. “The RMMLF is the preeminent professional society for natural resources lawyers, and Heidi’s strong experience in the mining, oil-and-gas and public lands, combined with her expertise spanning all stages of permitting, development and compliance, will be enormously valuable to the organization and its nearly 4,000 members.”

Established in 1955, the RMMLF is a collaborative, educational, nonprofit organization dedicated to the scholarly and practical study of the laws and regulations relating to mining, oil and gas, energy, public lands, water, environmental and international law. Through its educational programs, it brings together lawyers, landmen, managers, consultants, government personnel, law faculty, students and others involved in minerals, oil and gas, water and other resources.
