Firm's Representation of Hilton is Honored as Global Finance Deal of the Year by The American Lawyer

Firm News

For the past five years, The American Lawyer has hosted the Global Legal Awards to honor matters that demonstrate the industry's ability to navigate complex international legal issues. WilmerHale's representation of Hilton Worldwide Holdings in their $6.5 billion investment by HNA Group was selected as Global Finance Deal of the Year under the Acquisition Finance category. The deal established a long-term strategic investment in Hilton and their planned spin-offs of Park Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Grand Vacations.

“With well over 200 entries from firms across the globe, the competition was fierce and the high-stakes nature of the work on full display,” stated The American Lawyer.

The WilmerHale team representing Hilton was led by Mark Borden and included Jay Bothwick, Julie Hogan Rodgers, Bill Caporizzo, Erika Robinson, Jonathan Wolfman, Hartmut Schneider, Ben Powell, Jason Chipman, Eric Hanson and Cynthia Moon.

Winners will be celebrated on September 25 at the Edison Ballroom in New York.
