Michael Hazel, a counsel in the Denver office of WilmerHale, has been selected to participate in Leadership Denver, the Rocky Mountain region's most prestigious leadership program. As a member of the class of 2018, Hazel will participate in a year-long program that immerses him in the challenges and opportunities facing Denver, including those related to education, transportation, poverty and healthcare.
 
Hazel was selected for the incredibly competitive program based on the strength of his professional and community service credentials. Many of Colorado's most successful and influential leaders are alumni of the Leadership Denver program, including Denver Mayor Michael Hancock and former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, as well as senior executives of companies such as Molson Coors, Comcast, Noble Energy, Kaiser Permanente, DaVita, Deloitte Consulting, Wells Fargo and CenturyLink.
