Dayton Business Journal Names WilmerHale a Best Place to Work for Fourth Time

Firm News

For the fourth consecutive year, the Dayton Business Journal has named WilmerHale's Dayton, Ohio office among the Best Places to Work. Out of nearly 41 honorees and 200 companies that entered the contest, WilmerHale is the only law firm listed.

To be named a Best Place to Work, companies must receive positive results from an employee survey measuring workplace best practices, including staff engagement and team and manager effectiveness.

Individuals in the firm's Dayton office are critical to WilmerHale's business needs including finance, human resources, information services, new business intake, operations, document management and review, and practice management.

“There are many elements that make for a great workplace, but one of the most important is the people,” says WilmerHale's Dayton Managing Director Donna Smith. “It's key to surround yourself with smart, motivated, and caring individuals. The people in Dayton have these characteristics and also create an atmosphere where learning and growing is welcomed and expected. All of this has created a positive and open culture that makes for a happy place to be.”

More than 500 people attended the Dayton Business Journal's 2017 Best Places to Work awards gala on March 23 at Sinclair Community College in Dayton.
