WilmerHale Reps The Muse in $16M Round of Financing by Icon Ventures

The Muse, an online career resource targeting millennials, with more than 50 million users per year, announced that the company has closed a $16 million round of financing led by Icon Ventures. This Series B funding brings the total investment in The Muse to $28.7 million.

The Muse has expanded from offering jobs in six markets to more than 40 in the past 18 months. With this fresh capital infusion, in addition to expanding into new markets, The Muse will further scale the business across employer product suites, career advice tools, and the company's recently launched professional development platform.

The WilmerHale team handling the transaction was led by Partner David Gammell and included Senior Associate Mhairi Collins Immermann and Associate Jared Brenner.
