Increased environmental awareness and legislative and regulatory initiatives focusing on emissions and fuel diversity are creating a significant demand for new renewable energy projects in New England. Despite this demand, complex state and federal policies, rapidly changing technologies and increasing costs pose challenges that can hinder the development of these projects. This one-day conference, presented by NECA,examined the market and technological trends that are driving the demand and identify strategies that can overcome the impediments to developing a successful renewable energy project.
