This workshop, hosted by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, was conducted as part of an ongoing program of research and analysis in support of and sponsored by NIOSH. Participants engaged in discussions on a wide variety of topics, including the concerns associated with nanomaterials, the risks and liabilities within the workplace, the federal role in nanotechnology workplace safety and the effort to develop a unified startegy for nanotechnology work place safety.
