As IP becomes an ever-more important driver of corporate transactions, IP due diligence plays an increasingly critical role. This program will provide tips and guidance for conducting a thorough IP due diligence review, and will touch on such issues as: verifying ownership of IP assets; IP encumbrances; review of pending or threatened IP litigation; and open source audits.

WilmerHale Partner Jason Kipnis will be the featured speaker. Mr. Kipnis focuses his practice on complex intellectual property matters and advises clients on IP portfolio management, litigation, enforcement and dispute counseling, and audits and due diligence. His experience includes trade secret protection and management, standards counseling, open source matters, international rights management and identification and acquisition of intellectual property of third parties.
