WilmerHale Partner Ryan Danks will participate in a New York State Bar Association Antitrust Law Section panel titled “Game Changer: What DOJ’s Antitrust Whistleblower Rewards Program Means for Corporate Compliance Programs.” The program will examine the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division’s newly launched whistleblower rewards program and its significant implications for corporate antitrust compliance and internal reporting structures.
Drawing on perspectives from experienced in house counsel, outside practitioners, and former DOJ Antitrust Division prosecutors, the panel will explore how financial incentives for individual whistleblowers are reshaping the “race to report” antitrust violations, raising new challenges for companies seeking to detect misconduct internally, maintain effective compliance programs, and preserve eligibility for leniency. Panelists will also discuss practical considerations and best practices for adapting compliance strategies in this evolving enforcement landscape.
