Partner Jeffrey Kessler will speak at the 2024 ILS Annual Conference hosted by the American Bar Association in Washington DC on May 7–10. The four-day conference will explore the theme of The Power & Progress of International Law. This event provides registrants with the opportunity to network, learn and engage with hundreds of international attorneys from distinguished law firms, private organizations and governmental institutions worldwide.

Mr. Kessler’s panel is titled “Sanctions with Chinese Characteristics: Understanding and Complying with China’s Developing Sanctions, Export Controls, and Cybersecurity Laws” and will take place on Wednesday, May 8 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. The panel will provide an understanding of this growing area of the law as well as strategies for handling cross-border legal issues involving Chinese sanctions, export controls and data privacy laws.
