We are delighted to invite you to “Woman.Life.Freedom. The Struggle for Human Rights in Iran and Potential Remedies Under International Law,” an online discussion with award-winning Iranian-American author and historian Dr. Nina Ansary.
The event will be an opportunity for international law and human rights practitioners globally to hear from Nina about her work and thoughts on the women-led protests in Iran. Ultimately, the goal of this event is to assess whether and in which manner the international law community can come together and support the compliance with human rights in the region.
The discussion will be led by Niuscha Bassiri, an Iranian-German partner at Hanotiau & van den Berg, and Marleen Krueger, counsel in the International Arbitration Practice at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr.
